Passionate about advocacy and justice, Leonardo Lampret brings an international perspective and a deep commitment to clients in his role as an Associate Attorney here at LOMAD.
Before earning his LL.M. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago—where he received the school’s highest recognition for her dedication to pro bono and public service—he earned both his Bachelor and Master of Law degrees from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. His legal experience includes a landmark victory in Slovenia, where he successfully challenged the constitutionality of bans on same-sex marriage and joint adoption—paving the way for equality and social change in the country.
Admitted to the New York Bar in 2024, Leo is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, where he serves on the Committee on Civil Rights. He continues to fight for fairness through both his professional work and pro bono efforts.
When not practicing law, Leo is a gamer and a self-proclaimed geek. He loves playing video games, Magic the Gathering trade card game and dungeon and dragons. He also has a massive collection of Pokémon cards and figurines. We are incredibly grateful to have Leo as part of our team and we are thrilled to celebrate him this month!
